From Maplepaw's App;
The young brown tabby and white tom brushed through the camp entrance. His beautiful pelt shone brightly against the sun, low in the sky. The evening breeze ruffled through the camp as Maplepaw made his way to the fresh kill pile to set down the prey he'd caught. Before retiring to the apprentices den for the night with his sister, he picked the plumpest, juiciest mouse he could find, and made his way to the elders den. An elderly, yet still beautiful, she-cat sat in the corner, grooming her thick, ginger-and-tabby fur. She paused for a moment as the apprentice entered.
"Applesong, I brought you a mouse! The biggest one in Willowclan territory I bet!" He looked down shyly. "Of course, I didn’t catch it…but someday, I'll catch one even bigger!" He purred proudly. He dropped the mouse before his mother, before making his way back outside, and towards the apprentices den for a good night's sleep.
