Description

:iconpokemon-amie:

Wow sorry for the crappy coding? I work hard on my coding, but as helpful as ever, dA frick fracks it up.

General

Pokemon: #327 Spinda

Name: Hamilton

Nickname: Hamburger (pokemon only) | Hammy

Gender: Male

Birthdate: June 12

Current Age: 29 Years

Faction: Ursa Gang

Orientation: Undecided (Bisexual, to his unbeknownced little mind)

Preferences- Hamilton has never much looked to be in a relationship, so he really doesn't know what he wants. Though sometimes he finds himself staring and observing confident-acting men, or girls similar to himself (a nerd in all their glory), he doesn't exactly feel that he could say he's attracted. If someone wants to be in a relationship with him, they would have to be the ones taking charge and say it first. In pokemon, he really doesn't have preferences, but he's scared of fighting types.

Looking For- Hamilton, again, doesn't know what he wants. But it could be assumed if he ever did get into a relationship, he'd want it to be permanent, because he'd never find another.

Family

Father: Spinda (Pops)

Mother: Spinda (Mum)

Residence: Hammy usually takes home up in the apartment he rents as a human, though sometimes he does like to sleep under the stars for old times sake. Nowhere in particular. Hamilton usually takes shelter in any nook or cranny he stumbles (literally) into. He feels especially comfortable in wide open spaces, like plains, flower patches…or football fields. He prefers to stay close to Santalune City.

PokeHuman Stats

Occupation: Computer Technician / Café Blog Runner

Town of Residence: Santalune City

Appearance: Hamilton is a scrawny-as-a-twig little human. He has no muscle, and is about as weak as he looks. He tries to dress well, but his sense of fashion is always lacking, and quite messy. His most noticeable features would be his hair; salmon-colored and tied in an awkward ponytail on top of his head, his glasses; blue and swirly and cracked and never coming off his face, and his neck tie; spotted like his Spinda fur. His cheeks are almost always tinted a rosey hue, and he usually has one of his teeth sticking awkwardly out of his mouth, to which he tries to pass it off as an underbite.

Personals

Personality

Friendly | Helpful | Bashful | Awkward | Oblivious | Skittish

Friendly … "O-of course! I-I mean, w-what are friends for?" :bulletgreen:

Hamilton is one of the friendliest souls you'll meet. Even when someone's been a jerk, he'll smile constantly through a conversation with his rosy cheeks and shiny teeth on display for everyone to see. Hamilton loves making new friends (if only he weren't to awkward to approach strangers!). He's a good person, or pokemon, to talk to when you're in need of cheering up.

Helpful … "H-hey, wait! Let me help you!" :bulletgreen:

Hamilton is someone who loves to give advice. Alongside his work blog, which helps give business to his job, he also runs a (dittechtual pokemon exclusive) advice blog. He loves to give advice, and doesn’t mind at all being asked for help, even if he's not repaid with anything.

Bashful … "I-I…U-uhm. Thank…you… Ahhaha." :bulletwhite:

Hamilton is a shy little blushing baby. Especially with compliments. He'll light up red like a Christmas tree light bulb if someone offers him a compliment. He doesn't necessarily think that well of himself, so whenever he receives a compliment he really appreciates it- he just doesn't know how to respond rather than trying to push it away.

Awkward … "So…ah-ah…. Y-yeaahh…" :bulletwhite:

Hamilton is terrible with words when they're not typed up on a computer. This is half due to his stutter, and half due to his lack of social skills. He also jerks around weirdly when others talk to him, which is only partly due to his Spinda genetics and dizzy spells. When Hammy does talk, boy does his mouth run like a waterfall. He never knows what to say and how to say it.

Oblivious … "Wait…t-they like eachother?!" :bulletred:

Hamilton is always ever the most oblivious pokemon on the face of the pokemon world. He's clueless to subtle hints of romance, sarcasm, and all sorts of other play-on-words. Hamilton has a hard time understanding anything from jokes, as well as his own feelings. He's clueless as can be, and has to have everything explained to him by his more savvy sister often.

Skittish … "I-I, u-uhm. I h-have to go…now!!" :bulletred:

Hamilton is a skittish little fellow. He may be friendly, but that's only if you don't scare him into his shell. Rather than facing his problems, Hamilton hides from them, shivering like a snowrunt. He doesn't like facing anyone bigger than him if they're not friendly, and is especially scared of fighting type pokemon. He doesn't like any forms of violence, and runs at the first signs of a battle if he can.

History

Childhood

Hamilton wasn't born with a name. He was just called Spinda, like his parents, and his parent's parents. His sister, his twin, was born and titled the same. Spinda. The two had near-identical spots, though his sister had little speckles that surrounded her blots of red color, and her face had red little dots; like human freckles. The young siblings were raised in a strict upbringing by their folks, of whom they addressed as Pops and Mum.

Pops and Mum were wild Pokemon; wild Pokemon who hated humans. For this reason, it was assumed by their children that this was why they hadn't received names. It was a human thing. Though Pops and Mum did, unconsciously, take up the act of raising their family (like humans do) rather than leaving and letting them grow on their own. Spinda and Spinda were taught never to approach the main routes that trainers followed during the day, and to never ever visit human towns

But curious as a child ever is, the little girl spinda convinced her brother to come along on an adventure to observe the humans in their natural habitat. The siblings never really expected that they'd make friends with a little boy when he was pushed into the grass by a couple of jerks. It was little boy Spinda who used Helping hand on his sister so she could help heal the poor kid's skinned knee.

The kid came searching for the spinda daily after that, and as often as they could, the twins would come and meet him in the field outside of town. But the human boy, living currently with his grandmother, had to leave at some point as his vacation from school ended. He was too young still to be a pokemon trainer, and so begged his old granny to capture his spindas for him, so they wouldn't be lost or hurt or captured. His grandmother agreed.

And just in time, because Mum and Pops had caught the two siblings sneaking out. It was blissful coincidence when they were caught by the boy's grandmother (Granny they started to call her), and taken away to her home before their parents could catch them.

Teenaged Years

The two youngers grew up under Granny's care. She always kept them inside for her grandson's fretting, but the two didn't mind. It kept them safe from their worrisome, strict parents. The grandson, soon found to be named Ben, would come down every couple months, every chance he got, to he his Nanny and his pokemon. Ben took it upon himself to name his two Spindas.

The male Spinda was a little shy thing. He loved all of Granny's knickknacks. But his favorite thing in the world were when Ben came to town on Summer nights, and Granny would make hamburgers for everyone, even the pokemon. And boy did he like burgers. He was named Hamburger by Ben. His sister was given the name; Angel, for her angel-like, goody-two-shoes demeanor.

The family of pokemon and humans lived happily for a long many years. Hamburger enjoyed watching Ben sit at his computer and work on his blogs, or watch the boy play videogames in the livingroom whenever he visited. He even learned to read words. Like "hamburger" and "spoon". Angie preferred spending time with Granny more than Hamburger did when Ben wasn't around. She often tried on little sweaters Granny knit for them and helped her bake (when the baking wouldn't be effected by wobbly Spinda feet!).

Ben had long since become old enough to travel with pokemon. But his dreams had also since changed. The young boy had decided to continue his schooling rather than set out on a pokemon journey. He decided to let Granny keep his spinda until he was able to graduate college as a games designer. Though he did take joy in training his pokemon in the months that he did visit. Hamburger never really did enjoy training as much as his sister did, but despite their setbacks, the two leveled up many times, and became fairly strong pokemon for a couple of housepets. As soon as he graduated, Ben promised his pokemon that they could try challenging the Santalune City gym.

Adulthood

That…never happened. Granny died some time after the twin's reached their adult age, presumably when they were around 23 in human years. Ben, to busy with his schooling and mother hounding him to work hard, couldn't come to reclaim his pokemon. Angel and Hamburger were removed from the house and stripped of their pokeballs when Granny was taken away. All hopes of ever meeting Ben again were lost.

That was when the twins finally were re-introduced to the world of the wild. The two were forced to relearn many years forgotten skills from their childhood. They struggled terribly, and tried hard to find trainers to take them in when they couldn't find their parents and their old den. While they were highleveled pokemon, especially for a couple wild spinda, no one took much notice of the goofy looking pokemon long enough to battle them and find their strengths.

Months after being set free in the wild, Hamburger and Angel came upon gossip of a certain device called the Dittech. Hamburger looked into this further, and learned he could get ahold of the device through a pokemon called Sneasel. With Angel's help, the two scraped up enough berries to try and earn the device, as well as doing all the research they could through asking other friendly wild pokemon.

Around a year later, the siblings found themselves with their hands (or paws rather) on two separate Dittechs. They were warned to keep the machine a secret, and some of their fellow pokemon acquaintances who also possessed some of the machines offered the young duo tips on how to survive in the human world.

The duo began referring to themselves as Hamilton (Hamburger) and Angie (Angel), more humanistic names that they had decided on  with help from others. The two's first decision as humans were to find Granny's home and get a hold of Ben. This proved impossible, as when they found Granny's apartment, nothing was left but a couch, a desk, and lots and lots of dust.

The two quickly became accustomed to their human forms, and began even to prefer it more than their pokemon forms. After many months of switching back and forth, Hamilton decided to try and earn a job so the duo could move into Granny's old apartment. Hamilton snagged a job at a local Santalune City Café. After watching Ben for so many years on his blog, Hamilton decided he would put his only skill to use (well, skill he only knew by observation), and become a blogger for the Café. The owners were skeptical, but after a short internship, and better business proved, they offered Hamilton pay for his work.

Before long, with combined wages, Angie and Hamilton were moved into Granny's old apartment. The duo were soon made aware of an uprising of gangs through a chain of fellow shifters. Frou, Ursa, and Kabu. Hamilton asked around to his pokemon comrades, and soon found himself joining one of the groups; Gang Ursa, the only human-loving group there was. Despite joining this group, he never much flaunted it, and rather kept it a secret for fear of being beat up.

Hamilton and Angie have lived together in their Ex-trainer's old apartment in Santalune City for around 4 years.

Role-Play Example

(writing about summer Hammy because I miss summer wahh)

The blinds shifted from the blowing of the fan in the room, letting light from the bright morning sun peak into the dark apartment building. The lights, as luck would always have it, shined into a young, fur-covered pokemon's eyes. Or rather the swirled pattern that all pokemon of his kind - Spinda - could see through. The cream-and-peach spotted pokemon groaned and wriggled out of his mess of fluffy blankets. He momentarily pondered why he held onto these blankets. He never slept in his human form, so such long, thick covers weren't needed.

But the pokemon shrugged it off. He clumsily slithered off of the bed, hitting the ground with his short little legs. He stumbled over to his desk, where he'd left his dittech the previous night. An idiot move, it was always so hard to reach up there! He always ended up falling off the chair. Luckily, after a small, unstable struggle, the pokemon latched onto his device and slipped it on, switching it on.

The little spinda was quickly transformed into a short-standing, scrawny little man. A stature you wouldn't expect from a burger loving chubby-mon. But nonetheless, there he was with his lanky stance. As the boy started to move towards the bathroom to adjust his outfit (it always came out crooked one way or another- or perhaps that was just his wonky eyesight) he heard his name called from the main room of the apartment. "Hamilton!!! You're late for work!"

Hamilton was out of the house faster than you can say Mew 5 times in a row.

His design was made by me! I own it, yo.
